Accessibility for People with a disability

The Caricature Museum Krems and all its exhibition rooms are accessible for people with a disability. Our building has all necessary ramps, handrails, a sliding door, a lift, low-hung works of art, good readability of the inscriptions, a service oriented cash desk, designated parking spaces, wheelchair accessible toilets and much more.

Sit – wherever you like!

Wheelchairs and lightweight folding chairs are available free of charge. Please inquire about them at the cash desk.

Art education

For an educational and exciting visit to the museum, the main exhibition offers accompanying booklets. Accompanying booklets for persons with disabilities as well as biographical details of the artists are also part of our services, as is personal support by experienced art educators with pedagogical training. We cater to all groups individually! More about art education...

Audio guide Hearonymus

Our free audio guide for smartphones allows you to listen to Manfred Deix personally narrate the permanent exhibition for you. The famous caricaturist talks about his work and poems. Further Hearonymus narrators include the architect and caricaturist professor Gustav Peichl and the director of the house Gottfried Gusenbauer.
